Hello,
I would like to ask Polaris about the experience of being in a state of "flow", and its possible benefits, meanings, etc.
Thank you!

Flow is a state of non-resistance. You can think of it as surrender to What Is. This includes acknowledging all your feelings -- good, bad, indifferent -- about everything that is included within What Is. In this state of flow you acknowledge those feelings, as well as all the history of similar feelings and patterns from the past, and simply allow them to be present without having to do anything about it.

In this state of flow, you'll be more connected to more of your Self. As such, you open yourself to the inner wisdom that is a part of each of you, and you also open yourself more to the possibilities of What Could Be with a natural, open curiosity. We would say that a childlike curiosity is very much a part of this state of flow -- this is curiosity to know more but without judgment. You are simply open to all that is.

The benefits of this state are many. On a physical level, it brings down stress and tension that is experienced by most people on a continual basis, simply from resisting. In a state of non-resistance you'll be more relaxed physically, which leads to a more harmonious operation of the body on all levels and in all systems. Continual stress often leads to illness or dis-ease of some sort, so finding yourself in a state of relaxation can help the body revery to its natural, healthy state.

It is much the same on an emotional level. Being in a state of flow, even for a short time, acts as a "reboot" and can help you find and uncover emotional patterns of response that seemed to elude you in the past.

On an energetic level, being in flow outs you in closer touch with all the energy resources that are continually at hand. This includes your own inner guidance, spiritual guides and other teachers, and especially includes moving with the flow of your Self on a soul level. When you (on a personality level) and You (on a soul level) connect and work together through this state of flow, things seem effortless. Your sense of time is altered -- often you exist in a state of no-time, where you find yourself in the "perfect" space at all times. This state of flow is where things can be accomplished on a quantum basis and where you can feel connection -- on some level -- to All That Is.

In short, accessing a space of flow, even for a moment at a time, can help you be more human and more of who you are.

Thank you for your reply. Your words offer a beautiful description of a "flow" state, and offer a lovely and rich expansion of both its blessings and its implications. Very helpful and very much appreciated!
