I have read in one of the Michael books about essence experiencing several (if not 100’s) of lifetimes simultaneously. This poses a number of questions, which I hope someone can help me with. Firstly are these lifetimes experienced on a planet that is identical to earth (and operating under the same scientific laws) in human bodies? Or as different beings experiencing an alternative type of physical plane existence?

The second issue I would like to pose involves the linear concept of time that we experience on the physical plane. Do the parallel lifetimes we experience involve time as we understand it, ie are those parallel lifetimes past – present – future all happening at the same time? Or as I asked before something different.

I am assuming that on the Causal and other 5 planes of existence time either does not exist or not in the way we perceive it – does this then mean that entities on the causal plane see all that is, ie everything happening at once in the physical plane(s) or do they experience some concept of time? Or is this understanding limited to the higher planes and/or maybe the Tao alone (I realize we are all a part of ‘all that is’/Tao.)

another thing has come to me as ive been typing in that would it be possible to ‘tap’ these parallel lifetimes and does this explain psychic readings?

I realize this is a lot of information to cover and slightly outside the scope of personal issues, and I have lots of questions a lot of which seem to answer themselves in my mind over time, but this is an issue that bugs me somewhat….

Adding to everything a factor that time is experienced simultaneously means that you can simultaneously experience all your lifetimes at once. Because time is a function of the physical plane and the linearness of time is a function, therefore, of the physical plane, in the reality - the wider reality - you are actually experiencing everything all at once: everything that is yet to come for you and everything that already has been.

So there have been some misunderstandings in terms of how the linear time function relates to the the progression of the soul ages. It's an understandable misunderstanding based on the fact that linear time is a function solely the physical plane and in order to conceptually understand this progression of of movement through various lessons of the soul age levels then it becomes much easier to think about all this happening on this long linear timeline.

You tend to group, however, lifetimes of similarity together. In other words, you may live some infant and early baby lifetimes relatively together in terms of physical time, simply because it's easier that way to establish some sense of continuity. Most of you who have any kind of past life recall tend to have past life recall of lives that are fairly close to you in soul age level, and you don't have a lot of good recall - most people any way - of lives that are very different from yours in perspective.

Then in the same way that you can achieve past life regression, can also acheive future life projection? or is it all just sideways insight because it all occurs simeltaneously?

Another thought is that when we are dreaming we don't experience time in the same way as we are awake. Maybe this is a method of attempting to understand that it is only a constaint of our physical reality - and really it doesn't exist?

It all gets confusing when you think of time not as one dimensional (past, present, and future), but as multidimensional: there's parallels and different possibilities you can choose - even for the past! All that exists in the Now too.

The Education of Oversoul Seven book (from the Seth literature) was wonderful in expanding that concept in a fun manner.

So my understanding is that yes, you can access future possible selves. It can be a great meditative way of making major choices - in effect, accessing parallels and deciding which one you want to go to.

I don't really know how life on the Astral Plane / dreamland works, not being there, but the impression I get is that time doesn't function as such, but perhaps something analogous does. Time exists to help us (important to remember!); we'd get overwhelmed if we had the inputs of all time at once here in our bodies. I'd imagine there's something that works for the same thing there.
