This month the energy is about “Renewal.” Many of you will be seeing and feeling renewed hope, feelings of increased peacefulness with what is happening around the world, and feelings of increased peacefulness on an inner level.  Renewal of the spirit, as well as the body.

This feeling is in sharp contrast, however, to some things that are happening or beginning to happen in many places around the world.  We have long spoken of change, and many of you have begun to feel it on an intrinsic level.  This deep level of change, a fundamental shift occurring around the globe and affecting ALL of you, has felt frightening at times.  Overwhelming.  But because a sharp turn was taken globally in an energetic nexus occurring at the end of last month (March), the new month brings with it not only all that change but also a decrease in levels of anxiety about it.

Let us take you on a journey.  This is, of course, a journey of Self and of discovery, an analogy for the journey you are taking this month energetically. Are you ready?

Think of something to take with you on this journey.  It can be anything -  one single thing - that you would most like to have with you on this journey.  It can be anything, from the concrete to the abstract. Your imagination is your limit.

Take some time now to savor this thing you are taking with you.  Feel it, hold it in your hand (if you can!).  Feel its edges (if it has them), and its weight.  Feel what energy it, too, carries with it, and how that makes YOU feel having it near you.  Really take time with this and imagine as much detail as you can before going on.

This is a month of practice and repetition.  Feeling like things are familiar? That is because it is very likely you have already done them, or felt them, or thought them. If you are feeling, then, that you are simply stuck in old patterns of response and behavior because things just seem the same as they ever were, then understand that this is your last practice, your last exploration, before perhaps letting go of them for good. In order to move along, to take the next step, one must take stock of where one is at present. That is what we see happening for many of you now.

Question: Economics is a question on many people's minds. There could be a depression and there seems to be many people in power who are still clinging to old ways of using the current situation to make more money for the privileged rich. How worse is it going to get before it gets better? Is this another Great Depression?

We will call 2009 a bridge year; a year of transition.

We speak to you on a regular and ongoing basis about change. Change is something that is always present within your experience. It is part of your purpose, but 2009 will very likely represent to you as you look back on it later, as again, a bridge—a transition.   2008 saw many changes—the beginnings of changes and the glimmer of understanding that there is much yet to come regarding changes that are happening on a global and collective basis. We have spoken about these changes before, about the upheavals that are beginning to take place. 2009, then, is the in-between, between the understanding that something is about to happen and the realization of what is happening.

Many of you have been experiencing the energy surrounding quite a large shift, a lot of movement.  We have been talking to you for some time about changes and transitions, breathing in and out: a lot of change.   This will of course continue throughout your lifetime, but this month, December 2008, marks for a great many of you a shift into another reality, a nexus, a different way of perceiving, a different consciousness.  You can also call it a parallel world.
