Ordinality is a quality in the Michael Teachings Overleaves framework that denotes either a one-to-one focus or a general inward direction.

For instance, in the Role, a Server is focused on helping individual people on a one-to-one basis through the common good.  This does not mean that they will never be in the limelight or working to help many people, but that they will usually tend to do this through helping each individual person, and thus manifesting their role.

In the Mode, the Caution mode constantly has one checking and re-checking one's thoughts, emotions, and actions, thus serving an inward focus.

There is nothing "better" about the  Ordinal or Cardinal energies; each serves its own purpose.  The vast majority of people have a mix of both energies in some manner.
