Question: There's a been a lot of focus on Obama and his inauguration.   Could you give perspective on who he is?   What are his agreements and relationships with those around him and with the population at large?  Please include some Michael Teachings terms in this!

Let us talk about this man who has been so inspiring for a great many people.  There is of course no accident in this.  This is a soul who has some experience in leading great numbers of people.  He has acted as a war general throughout various parts of history, including surrounding Alexander the great, in the Napoleonic wars and other times that are widely known throughout history.

This is a fourth level mature priest who is drawing on some sixth level energies in order to collect on some karma.  There are a great number of people who "owe him a favor", and this is a life that he is tying together quite a few loose ends in order to create a completion of sorts.

This is part of where his "air of service" comes from.  He has plans to affect a great number of people all at one time: the country and the world.  There are a great number of people who are going to be affected by who he is and the energy that he brings to this role that he is playing.   

Make no mistake, he is aware that he is playing a role.  There is more to the man than the role that you see.  But he has conscious awareness of his effect upon other people. 

When you see him speaking one on one with someone and listen with all of his heart, all of his presence, to their story, there is no role.  That is the man that you would see; that is your glimpse into the realness that is the man that you know as Barack Obama.  

If you were to sit around and drink beer and have pizza with him one Friday night, that is who you would see - that is what he is like with family and friends.  But for the greater world he is aware that he is a symbol.  He is very aware of the power that's inherent in the symbol that he is playing.  Again, it's a role of inspiration.  It's very important in his mind to start to move things in a new direction.  He is a very aware of the galvanizing effect that he has on the American population, and he is very aware of the wider effect upon the global population of people who are aware of what's going on in the country of the United States of America.  

He doesn't necessarily have a desire to make the United States "back on top".  It is more to integrate this country among the wider global population.  "How can the world best be served by what United States does?" This is what he thinks about. This is the culmination of the priest energy: serving the greatest good.  There is no greater good than that of the entire global population - at least not in his perception!

In terms of major agreements with the people around him, we can say that about 70% of his closer advisers, the cabinet, etc, are people with whom he has astral connections, past life associations, etc.   The remaining 30% are strictly from his intellect and are from him choosing the people that he thinks will best fulfill the roles that are needed as he sees it.

So there are a large number of people that he has surrounded himself with that he's known before, in one way or another.   They've not always been friends or pals; it's not like he is surrounding himself with buddies in the way his predecessor did.  That was a man who was very much afraid to be "out", and so enclosed himself with people that helped them feel more comfortable.

Barack Obama is more comfortable being "out there as who he is" - again, he is very aware of the role that he is playing.   He is surrounding himself with people who will help him be more of who he is.  

Question:  Is there an agreement with the world?   To move the world in a new direction through his inspiration?

We talked to you about a month ago about what we saw in terms of the world's future - how things are shifting and changing - and we think that this man is very much a big part of those shifts and changes that we see ahead.  We have acknowledged that these changes will be painful in the interim, in the short term.  In the long term they bring about a greater sense of global community and connection.  You are feeling this now.  There was sentenced to some degree of hopelessness 30 days ago.  Something has happened in the interim.  There is now a sense of renewed hope with the knowledge that you also need to dig in and be uncomfortable for a while until that end is reached.

Does he have an agreement with the world?   We would say that the world has an agreement with him.  In other words, it is not an obligation that he is performing.  There is a collective choice - you wanted to appoint someone and this was a volunteer.  There were other candidates from other countries who could have performed this role, and in fact are performing a similar role in parallel worlds that your world is experiencing.

There is a man not presently known in the United States, who is active in local politics in France now, who was elevated to a greater position.  In terms of people names that you would know and that the channel knows, there are various stories being played out.  In one of the world stories there is a much larger power center occurring in South America.  This is a shift that we see occurring in your present future, but it has not yet happened.   So some of the figures are in that location and not known to Karen.

Question: I can see that he wants to move things without alienating people by creating too rapid a switch that would create a backlash.  But there is a longterm need to overhaul things: improve equality, have less concentration of power and wealth, environmental changes, economic changes, etc.  But Obama couldn't have gotten in power without some sort of buy-in from those already in power.   He raised the most money ever.  So my question is: is he really interested in changing the status quo?  He's still part of the existing power structure.

As we see it, this is a man who has both a 12 year plan and a 30 year plan, knowing that his part in either plan is only a piece of the picture.   There is a large degree of trust that he is placing on his successors, whoever they may be, to continue on in the direction that he is beginning to shift thingstowards.

The amount of tangible change that anyone will notice or experience during the next four years is relatively small compared to where you will be in 10, 15, or 30 years.   We would say that he is less playing the politics game of "hurry up and make a lot of changes so that I can get elected again" and more simply trying to do what he feels is best in the overall big picture.  

Again, this is taking a large degree of trust, and we think that it is highly possible - because there is this global collective agreement to shift things together and appoint a few people who can be in charge of this symbolically - because of that large degree of trust that has been placed, we feel it is highly likely that any successors will more or less follow through in a similar direction.  In other words, there won't be in eight years another grinding halt and have things shift back to where they had been eight years ago.  

Question:  That implies that he will likely get reelected?

We think it's quite likely, yes, unless he dies in office.  

Question:  That's a possibility? Assassination?

Yes.  Again, this is a large-scale agreement involving a great number of people and there are other factors in the agreement.  We do not see it as a large chance, but it is still a chance, and there are parallels that will play out that possibility.  

Question: But he's also a man who knows how to use community, so the change wouldn't stop if he dies.

That is what we are saying, yes. There is a lot to be said for knowing ones effect in terms of symbolism.

He is using that to its fullest degree.
